What do you envision gaining from your mentorship?

-I envision being able to gain knowledge on both fitness, as well as an understanding of what goes into the development of a business. Due to the fact that my mentor is the founder of Elete Physiques, I will be able gain an understanding of what goes on behind the scenes of a business in terms of the operations. In addition to this, I envision being able to learn what goes into helping the community as a business leader. This includes gaining knowledge on how to interact with those in the community in order to be a positive impact on others as well as being efficient as a business.

What actions will you take to ensure you get the most from your experiences?

-In order to ensure a positive internship experience, communicating with my mentor is a necessity. This is due to the fact that being able to have real life advice from someone who has experienced the development of a business is crucial in the understanding of how to pursue the same goals. Communication will allow for me to learn what works in the development of a business as well as what doesn't work. In order to learn about what goes into the promoting of a business, researching what exposure techniques are the most effective is mandatory in order to learn how to market you as a brand.

How is this preparing you for the future?

-This mentorship opportunity will prepare me for my future because I am in a situation that I am able to learn about two passions that I wish to develop as a business in the future . Being able to speak with someone who has experience in the business world will prepare me for my future because being able to learn from someone else's experience is helpful when developing one's own business. My passion for businesses, fitness and giving back to the community is fulfilled in the mentorship opportunity and being able to have exposure allows me to have the communication skills that will prepare me for my interaction with the community as well.
